Hopewell Music Flute Choir: Tarnished Silver

Tarnished Silver is Hopewell’s dynamic flute choir based in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, bringing together intermediate and advanced flutists with an extraordinary combined total of over 450 years of playing experience. This depth of musicianship gives the ensemble its distinctive character—and its name. Featuring the full flute family, from piccolo to bass flute, the group creates a rich, blended sound while exploring a wide range of repertoire. Meeting Thursday evenings at Hopewell, Tarnished Silver offers musicians of all ages a welcoming, high-level ensemble experience with regular opportunities to rehearse, collaborate, and perform throughout the year.
